Integral Acquires Finbuild Software
Finbuild accounting, payroll and manufacturing.

We are pleased to share that Integral, New Zealand’s exclusive distributor of Magic Software development environment since 2014, has acquired the Finbuild Software intellectual property from Finite Systems.
For Finbuild Software customers, this marks the beginning of a managed transition, with a strong focus on continuity, support, and making sure they feel confident about what comes next.
At Integral, we understand how important it is to have reliable software and trusted support behind it. We also know that any change like this can bring questions, so our priority is to make the process as smooth and straightforward as possible.
With decades of experience working in the Magic Software development environment, as well as proven expertise across forestry, manufacturing, and finance, our team is well placed to support Finbuild Software customers into the future. We have helped guide several software transitions over the years, always with the same goal in mind: protecting the value of the software, supporting customers well, and ensuring there is a clear path forward.
In the lead-up to the formal transition on 1 April 2026, we worked closely with Richard Sainsbury to ensure knowledge is transferred thoroughly and carefully. Richard will also remain available in an advisory capacity where needed, helping to support continuity during the handover. We wish Richard well in his future endeavours.
During March, members of the Integral team met with Finbuild Software customers in person. This was an opportunity for us to introduce ourselves, learn more about their business and future plans, and answer any questions.
We are looking forward to building new relationships with Finbuild Software customers, adding new ones, and continuing to support the software and services they rely on.
